Dr. Lehnes has practiced with Ocean Gynecological and Obstetrical Associates since 1994. A native of Ocean County, Dr. Lehnes earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, N.Y. Dr. Lehnes has served as chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus as well as president of the hospital's Medical Dental Staff. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus and its Foundation and has been honored with its Humanitarian Award "Caring For and About People." He is a Diplomate and fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, and a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners. His clinical interests include advanced laparoscopy, minimally invasive alternatives to hysterectomy and the treatment of infertility.
